Goodbye Summer.... Hello New Blog

Goodbye summer...... Hello school time! What better way to start a new fresh blog then blogging about our summer family vacation! I think of it as fun-in-the-sun, seashells hunting, sunscreen wearin', free skin exfoliating (sand+waves) good time! We decided in January that we were going to finally book a trip to Cancun. We have not been to Mexico since I was a freshman in high school... graduated in 2005...so you can figure out how long ago that was. This trip was going to be my whole family plus my cousins. So a total of 13. Thanks to Kalin getting online and just booking it and calling it a done deal. We stayed at the Omni Hotel which is where we stayed the last time we went. The hotel has been updated (thank goodness) in the last few years so it was a bit "new" to us. We were there Thursday-Sunday. It was a nice vacation, nice to "get away" and we had a lot of fun and of course made lots of memories and took lots of pictures! 
My goal plan with my blog is to keep it updated as much as I can with family happenings, and my teaching life.
